Seney School was created by Elizabeth Seney, M.A. Secondary Education, to help change the way students feel about learning math.
Every experience in her classes is customized to the student's needs. This isn't a one-size-fits-all math instruction or your typical math class. Each student's journey is as unique as the student themself.
What Makes My Classes Different
Perhaps you have a child who has always struggled in math; who feels like they can never keep up with the group and never feels comfortable or confident. Perhaps you have a child who has always excelled at math but is frustrated that they aren’t allowed to zoom ahead, skipping material they already know. Perhaps you have a child who needs vibrant colors and visuals to combat dysgraphia and dyslexia or one who learns best by talking through mental math tricks.
It is nearly impossible in a traditional math classroom to meet the needs of every single one of these students. This is why over 85% of college kids report hating math.
But this doesn’t have to be your child.
My classes meet the needs of every single student no matter their unique math journey. In my classes, students are:
Personally Assessed through a variety of means to determine their perfect starting point
Given an Individualized Curriculum, based on State Standards but uniquely crafted
Adaptively Instructed so they are receiving the perfect lesson for their learning style
Learning in a small-group environment that my parents report is more like receiving private tutoring than attending a math class

Flexible Schedule Class
In this class, students learn through videos and daily feedback from Ms. Elizabeth. Students work is done on their own schedule and they can choose to learn any of these math subjects:
